Principal's Message

My name is Brad Johnson, and I am incredibly excited to serve as your principal. This marks my 18th year in education and my 11th year as a school administrator, and I can honestly say there is nothing I enjoy more than being part of a school community where students, staff, and families work together to help children thrive. From the moment you walk through our doors, I hope you can feel the positive energy that makes FMES such a special place. This year, you'll hear us say "Bring the Sting!" often. It's more than a slogan—it's who we are. It represents showing up each day ready to work hard, support one another, and give our very best in everything we do.

At FMES, our goal is simple: every child deserves to be in a place where they feel safe, valued, challenged, and connected. We want every student to know they belong, build meaningful relationships, and experience the excitement that comes from learning and being part of something bigger than themselves. Every day, our staff brings enthusiasm, positivity, and purpose into our classrooms as we work to create a school where students love to learn, families feel welcomed, and our entire community is proud to call FMES home.
